09.02.2024 The Bittern decided to make a more prolonged appearance for Alan Gicquel today, in the open, right in front of the Wetlands Centre!
A mild sunny day with the odd shower and a strong south westerly wind
Seen at St Ouen's Pond alongside the Bittern were 18 Wigeon, 2 Pochard, 15 Teal, 4 Shoveler, a Little Grebe, 3 Snipe and a Water Pipit.
At Beaumont Marsh were 6 Shoveler, a Teal, 9 Snipe, 2 Buzzard and 2 Redwing.
