22.11.2025 One of a good number of Common Gulls which have recently arrived along the east coast RdC Seen at a wet and windy Gorey this morning were 32 Common Gull , 3 Mediterranean Gull and 300 Black-headed Gull while further down the bay at Le Hurel were 11 Turnstone , 15 Cattle Egret were at La Sente and at La Rocque another Common Gull , 18 Ringed Plover, 70 Dunlin, 200 Grey Plover , 65 Oystercatcher , 15 Turnstone , a Great Crested Grebe , 320 Brent Geese , a Red-breasted Merganser and a Sandwich Tern with 2 Stonechat in nearby fields. The family of Whooper Swan were still at Grouville Marsh along with 5 Cattle Egret , 20 Chiffchaff , 2 Blackcap , 2 Firecrest , 2 Cetti's Warbler , 2 Reed Bunting , 8 Redwing , 4 Song Thrush , 6 Siskin , a Grey Wagtail , 2 Woodcock and a Water Rail while in fields near Grouville Parish hall were a Fieldfare , 6 Redwing , 400 Chaffinch , 5 Brambling , 15 Linnet , 30 Goldfinch , 2 Reed Bunting , 25 Jackdaw , 2 Raven and a Sparrowhawk and up at Le Catillon were 10 Common Gull and 9 Cattle Egret . Passing La Coupe this morning were the first Red-throated Diver of the autumn, 1,016 Razorbill , 2 Guillemot , 2 Common Gull , a Lesser Black-backed Gull , 7 Kittiwake and 4 Gannet . At Petit Port were 21 Curlew , 26 Great Black-backed Gull , 4 Little Egret and 25 Brent Geese. Elsewhere, 6 Redwing and a Siskin were in Vallee des Vaux, a Stonechat and 2 Raven were at Egypt and 3 Grey Heron were at Fauvic. Below, Common Gull alongside a Black-headed Gull RdC
