Corbiere

Corbiere is the most south-westerly point of Jersey,  and is marked by a Lighthouse. Seawatching can be good from the platform below the Lighthouse, or from the carpark at the bottom of the access road. Be aware that the causeway is tidal and covers around three hours either side of the high tide. Shearwaters, especially Balearic and Manx, Divers, Gannets, Terns, Gulls and Auks can all be expected in season, the latter especially in winter, when thousands of Guillemots and Razorbills may pass on some days.

Getting There

Leave Red Houses at St Brelade west along Route Orange and follow to the Lighthouse. The 12A and 22 buses from St Helier will also take you there, or cycle along the Railway Walk from St Helier to it’s conclusion
