North Coast

Jersey’s north coast is spectacular. A cliff path runs the entire length and allows access to view the nesting seabirds in summer. Puffins, Razorbills, Fulmars and gulls can be found at various points. Peregrine Falcons breed as do Dartford Warblers, Stonechats, Ravens and the occasional Lesser Whitethroat. To view Puffins, ( between April and July only ), Plemont in the north west is the best place. Red-billed Choughs can be seen almost anywhere on the North Coast headlands but Sorel Point and Les Landes are among the best places to look ( and listen) for them.

Getting There

To view the Puffins see Plemont in these Locations. But a walk along any part of the Coastal Walking Trail can be rewarding and also provides excellent views of the other Channel Islands on a clear day. The various bays, such as Bouley Bay, Greve de Lecq and Bonne Nuit are well worth a visit and these can be reached by road if walking is not your best option.
