Another windy day with gusts of 55mph! other than the wind it was a cloudy day with the odd shower.
In the Sandpits this morning were 5 Pochard, 10 Little Grebe and 12 Cormorant while on St Ouens Pond were 15 Shoveler and a Little Grebe with 10 Brent Geese, 9 Chough, 10 Skylark and 50 Chaffinch feeding in the back fields. 14 Ringed Plover were trying to shelter on the slipway at Sands.
On a recently wracked field on Jubilee Hill were 45 Mediterranean Gull, 30 Black-headed Gull and a Lesser Black-backed Gull with another 18 Mediterranean Gull on the Airport playing field.
At La Sente were 450 Black-headed Gull, 7 Mediterranean Gull, 9 Common Gull, 109 Brent Geese, a Curlew, 6 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 24 Grey Heron and 14 Little Egret while 10 Cattle Egret were along Route des Cotils and 10 were up at Le Catillon.
Beaumont Marsh held 2 Shoveler, 2 Stonechat and a Little Egret while 5 Bullfinch and 2 Woodcock were in Vallee des Vaux.
