A mainly overcast day with some light drizzle, but mild in a west-northwest wind


A Rose-coloured Starling  visited a garden near Fauvic today.


Passing Corbiere in the first half of this morning included 482 Razorbills, 246 Guillemots, 2 Brent Geese, a Common Scoter, 19 Gannets, 16 Cormorants, 23 Shags, a Fulmar, 21 Kittiwakes, 7 Mediterranean Gulls, and 3 Common Gulls, also a pair of Peregrines were hunting there and a male Black Redstart was near the lower car park. A Grey Seal  was close in offshore. 34 Curlews and 28 Great Black-backed Gulls were at Petit Port.


At Beaumont Marsh were 2 Stonechats, 5 Greenfinches, a Marsh Harrier, 30 Starlings, 3 Meadow Pipits, 4 Shovelers and a Teal. A Brambling visited a garden feeder at Beauport again.


Elsewhere, 3 Teal and 12 Moorhens were at the top of Queen's Valley reservoir and a pair of Chough was at La Pulente.


Evening update: 34 Redshanks were in St Aubin's Harbour and at Acorn this evening was a roost of 200 alba Wagtails. Assorted birds in Vallee des Vaux included a Blackcap, a Firecrest, a Goldcrest, 4 Bullfinches, a singing Song Thrush, 2 Ravens, 2 Woodcock, and a Barn Owl.


An extra report from yesterday was of c300 Dunlin on the beach at St Aubin.
