Heavy showers overnight led to a cool, but mainly dry day, still feeling cool in a fresh southwest wind
Few reports incoming today with several of the usual reporters engaged in a seabird survey course over the weekend. Seen from a boat off La Rocque this morning were a Storm Petrel and 2 Guillemots, but things were otherwise unremarkable. In St Helier Harbour was a family of White Wagtails,
At Le Pulente this afternoon was a pair of Shelduck with 6 young in tow and at Petit Port were 5 Curlews, 3 Shelduck and 3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
Around Les Platons radar site were 2 pairs of Dartford Warblers and a pair of Meadow Pipit, also a Buzzard, a singing Greenfinch and 13 Goldfinches.
At Grosnez yesterday were 4 Ravens, with 2 Chough seen there today and at L'Etacq was a pair of Stonechat.
