21.02.2024 A previous Caspian Gull in St Ouen's Bay last autumn RdC

A wet day with constant rain and a strong south westerly wind

In the St Ouen's Sandpits this afternoon were a Caspian Gull, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, a Black-necked Grebe, 12 Little Grebe and 10 Tufted Duck while at St Ouen's Pond were 16 Wigeon and 4 Shoveler.

At La Sente were 2 Shelduck, 26 Black-headed Gull, 18 Redshank, 5 Greenshank, 27 Curlew and 4 Grey Heron.

Seen at Beaumont Marsh were 350 Brent Geese, 5 Shoveler, 11 Snipe, 2 Little Egret and a Pied Wagtail while along Ruelle es Ruaux were another 30 Brent Geese.
