An overcast morning after overnight rain, was replaced by a fair to fine afternoon in a fresh westerly wind.
A Hobby was hawking over Giffard on the North coast this afternoon, with a Peregrine, 2 Buzzards and 2 Ravens also seen.
Early passage past Corbiere soon faded away, but did include 8 Balearic Shearwaters, 16 Manx Shearwaters, 3 Guillemots, 30 Gannets, 57 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 74 Mediterranean Gulls, 88 Black-headed Gulls, 43 Great Black-backed Gulls and 6 Sandwich Terns including 2 juveniles.
3 House Martin nests were seen on houses behind Falles Airport Garage and a White Wagtail was on the roof of the pier at Jersey Airport. A Kingfisher was at Grouville Marsh and 2 Swifts at St Ouen's Pond.
At First Tower this evening were 120 Black-headed Gulls, 2 Mediterranean Gulls, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and a Sandwich Tern at at Le Port were 4 Sanderlings, 2 Common Sandpipers and 10 Mediterranean Gulls.
Extra reports for yesterday include 12 Swifts, 40 Sand Martins, 3 Little Grebes, 8 Tufted Ducks, a Pochard and a juvenile Marsh Harrier in the Sandpits and 2 Swifts at St Ouen's Pond.
