30.01.2024 The Polish colour-ringed Ringed Plover that arrived in St Ouen's Bay earlier this month RdC
A rather cloudy day with a north westerly wind
Around St Ouen's Pond were 328 Brent Geese, 7 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, 16 Wigeon, 42 Teal, 58 Lapwing, 11 Snipe, 3 Marsh Harrier and a Water Rail.
500 Brent Geese were along Ruelle es Ruaux while at Beaumont Marsh were 4 Shoveler, 4 Snipe, a Curlew and a Pied Wagtail.
At La Sente were 2 Shelduck, 2 Shoveler and 11 Cattle Egret while the Great Northern Diver was still in the Town Harbour and nearby at West Park were 38 Brent Geese, 8 Oystercatcher, 6 Black-headed Gull, a Little Egret and a Cormorant.
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was busy drumming at Queen's Valley this morning.
