01.02.2024 The female Black Redstart at La Rocque this morning RdC

A cloudy day with a couple of light showers this morning and a light northerly wind.

Seen at La Rocque this morning were a Slavonian Grebe, a Black-necked Grebe, a Great Northern Diver, 34 Red-breasted Merganser, 85 Grey Plover, 220 Dunlin, 60 Sanderling, 25 Redshank, 43 Turnstone, 14 Curlew and a Black Redstart while in the fields nearby were 300 Brent Geese and 15 Cattle Egret and a Shelduck was in Causie lane.

At St Ouen's Pond were 18 Wigeon, 5 Teal, 40 Lapwing and 230 Brent Geese and at Beaumont Marsh were 123 Brent Geese, 9 Snipe, a Curlew, 2 Pied Wagtail and 2 Little Egret.

5 Redwing and 2 Siskin were at Tabor Park and a Kingfisher was in the Marina.
