A mostly sunny day with the odd shower and a strong south westerly wind
The Gull-fest at Le Catillon continued today, seen this morning were a first winter Caspian Gull, a Yellow-legged Gull, 106 Common Gull, 36 Mediterranean Gull, 90 Black-headed Gull, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull and 200 Herring Gull.
Nearby at La Sente were 2 Shelduck, 2 Shoveler, 350 Brent Geese including one Pale-bellied, 51 Little Egret, 21 Cattle Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 32 Black-headed Gull, a Mediterranean Gull, 46 Curlew, 62 Redshank and 5 Greenshank while at La Rocque were 71 Brent Geese.
Out West at St Ouen's Pond were the juvenile ringtail Hen Harrier, 16 Wigeon and a Little Grebe.
At Beaumont Marsh were 215 Brent Geese, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Mediterranean Gull, a Curlew, 6 Pied Wagtail and 3 Little Egret.
5 Brent Geese were in the town Harbour and Redwings were moving over Vallee des Vaux in the early hours of this morning.
