03.02.2024 The pale Buzzard at St Ouen's Pond, thanks to Tom Frazer

A cloudy day with some rain this morning before clearing in the afternoon

Seen at La Sente this morning were 2 Shelduck, 2 Shoveler, 350 Brent Geese, 30 Redshank, 4 Greenshank, 15 Cattle Egret, 11 Little Egret, 11 Grey Heron, 2 Great Black-backed Gull and 4 Pied Wagtail and in Causie lane were 3 Cattle Egret and 8 Little Egret.

At La Rocque were 100 Brent Geese and a Black Redstart while in Grouville Bay were 4 Stonechat, 39 Brent Geese and 9 Grey Plover

In Beaumont Marsh were 370 Brent Geese, 3 Shoveler, 7 Snipe, 2 Little Egret and 2 Grey Wagtail.

In Rozel Harbour were a Guillemot, a Grey Wagtail and 15 Brent Geese and in Vallee des Vaux were 6 Bullfinch, 3 Siskin, 2 Blackcap, 130 Redwing, a Grey Wagtail, a Sparrowhawk, a singing Goldcrest and a drumming Great Spotted Woodpecker.
