04.04.2024 One of yesterday's Purple Sandpipers that were near Corbiere RdC

Back to the rain today after our sunny weekend!

Seen around St Ouen's Pond this morning were 9 Wigeon, 37 Brent Geese, 2 Pochard, 19 Teal, a Shoveler, 2 Oystercatcher, a Snipe, 2 Grey Heron and a Water Pipit.

At La Sente were 300 Brent Geese including the regular Pale-bellied individual, 2 Shoveler, 2 Shelduck, 11 Cattle Egret, 15 Little Egret, 56 Redshank, 5 Greenshank and 32 Pied Wagtail.

Beaumont Marsh held 370 Brent Geese, 5 Shoveler, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull and 2 Little Egret.

2 Cattle Egret were near St Saviours Hospital and 17 Redwing and 8 Song Thrush were in Talavera Lane in Trinity.

Yesterday in St Aubins bay were 120 Dunlin and 40 Sanderling.
