A cloudy and noticeably cooler day in a fresh and gusty.
A little early morning passage past Corbiere included 5 Balearic Shearwaters, 22 Gannets, 15 Cormorants, 26 Shags, 78 Mediterranean Gulls moving West, 4 Black-headed Gulls, 13 Sandwich Terns, 5 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 16 Great Black-backed Gulls, 2 Curlews a Grey Seal. 4 Turnstones were roosting on rocks there, reducing to 3 when 2 Peregrines flew past and saw them. Also, on the headland were 2 Choughs, 2 Ravens and an alba Wagtail.
The Black Tern was still in the St Ouen's Bay Sandpits.
At a windy Noirmont were 3 Wheatears, a Whinchat, 2 alba Wagtails, a Whitethroat, a Blackcap, a Willow Warbler, an overflying Tree Pipit, 106 Meadow Pipits and 9 Swallows.
At St Ouen's Pond today were 14 Sand Martins, 20 Swallows, 11 Shovelers, 5 Snipe, a Greenshank, 4 Wheatears and a Grey Heron. At Les Landes were 4 Whinchats, 11 Stonechats, 4 Wheatears, a Grey Heron, a Marsh Harrier and a few Swallows.
Yesterday, at La Saline in St Ouen's Bay were a Common Sandpiper, 6 Ringed Plovers and a Grey Plover and at Seymour, were 41 Sandwich Terns and extras for Monday, from Noirmont, were 7 Wheatears, 2 Whinchats, 2 Whitethroats and an alba Wagtail.
