14.02.2024 A Common Gull feeding in a flooded field near La Sente RdC

A cloudy day with a south westerly wind

At La Sente this morning were 2 Shoveler, 24 Cattle Egret, 6 Little Egret, 20 Grey Heron, 7 Common Gull, 31 Black-headed Gull, 62 Redshank and 6 Greenshank while along Rue Pont were 200 Brent Geese and 12 Little Egret and another 150 Brent Geese were in Causie lane. 5 Stonechat were on Grouville Common and a Cirl Bunting was singing.

Around St Ouen's Pond were 16 Wigeon, 11 Lapwing, a Water Pipit and a singing Skylark while 2 Ringed Plover were near Sands.

At Crabbe were 5 Stonechat, a Cattle Egret and 6 Lesser Black-backed Gull were in fields near the Windmill, 300 Chaffinch were near St Johns Manor and a Shoveler, 100 Chaffinch and 2 Stonechat were on Mont Mathieu.

At Beaumont Marsh were 100 Brent Geese, 2 Shoveler, 2 Teal, 5 Snipe, a Curlew and 2 Pied Wagtail.
