16.02.2024 A couple of Purple Sandpiper on the rocks near to Corbiere RdC
A warm sunny day with a light westerly wind.
Seen at Petit Port this morning were 44 Curlew, 160 Oystercatcher and 7 Little Egret while 7 Purple Sandpiper were at Corbiere and 74 Razorbill passed offshore.
The Bittern was seen at St Ouen's Pond, 40 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were at St Aubins, a Stonechat was at Trinity Manor and a Firecrest was in a garden at Greve de Lecq.
At La Sente were 300 Brent Geese, 2 Shoveler, 31 Cattle Egret, 55 Little Egret, 27 Grey Heron, 55 Redshank, 4 Greenshank, 4 Mediterranean Gull, 284 Black-headed Gull, a Common Gull and 2 Shelduck were at Causie Lane.
