19.11.2024 A Common Gull in a stormy Grouville Bay RdC
Another horrible, wet and windy day with a continuation of these strong north-westerly winds.
Passing a wet and windy Corbiere were 13 Gannet, a Kittiwake, 9 Razorbill, 5 Auk sp. and a Shearwater that was most likely to have been a Balearic.
Seen around St Ouens Pond were 29 Lapwing, 17 Snipe, 2 Water Rail, 2 Teal, a Water Pipit, 2 Grey Heron and 8 Great Black-backed Gull.
Sheltering in the Sandpits were 4 Pochard, 17 Tufted Duck, 21 Cormorant, 7 Little Grebe and a Lesser Black-backed Gull while at Beaumont Marsh were 16 Snipe, 3 Teal and a Little Egret.
