25.01.2024 A small group of Wigeon on the Scrape RdC
An overcast day with a south westerly wind.
Seen at St Ouen's Pond this morning were the Bittern and 15 Wigeon while at La Saline were a Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull.
At Pont Marquet the Coal Tit remains in residence and 100 Redwing were on Mont Les Vaux while down at Beaumont Marsh were 550 Brent Geese, 5 Shoveler, 2 Teal, 5 Snipe, a Curlew, 2 Little Egret, 3 Redwing, a Song Thrush and 2 Greenfinch.
La Sente held 2 Shelduck, 5 Cattle Egret, 5 Little Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 44 Redshank and a Greenshank.
A Red-throated Diver was at St Catherine's, 3 Mediterranean Gull were at Queen's Valley and a Black Redstart was at La Rocque.
