27.01.2024 A mixed flock of Lapwing and Starling at the scrape recently RdC


A bit cooler today but mostly sunny day with a moderate south easterly wind


Seen at La Sente this morning were 2 Shelduck, 52 Redshank, 4 Greenshank, 16 Grey Heron, 22 Little Egret and 7 Cattle Egret with another 11 along Rue du Parcq, a single at Trinity Manor and 18 at Grouville Marsh.


In the fields behind St Ouen's Pond were 14 Skylark, 18 Reed Bunting, 20 Meadow Pipit, 20 Chaffinch and 7 Teal while 1,000 Razorbill, 7 Guillemot, 6 Mediterranean Gull and 80 Gannet were feeding off Le Pulec.


Up at Plemont were 150 Chaffinch and at Beaumont Marsh were 4 Shelduck. 11 Raven were in horse fields near St Lawrence Church.
