An overcast day with the odd shower and a south westerly wind.
Surprisingly, a Hoopoe was seen again in the north end of St Ouens Bay, feeding on the beach between Les Laveurs and La Saline and likely to be the same individual that was seen there back on the 7th.
Seen at St Ouens Pond today were a Short-eared Owl, the male Hen Harrier, 23 Lapwing and a flock of 40 Skylark at the Scrape.
In the Sandpits were 2 Pochard, 10 Lapwing, 9 Tufted Duck, 10 Little Grebe, 11 Cormorant, a Mediterranean Gull, 30 Great Black-backed Gull and a Cetti's Warbler.
At La Sente this afternoon were a Pintail, 26 Brent Geese, 26 Grey Heron, 13 Little Egret, 7 Cattle Egret, 2 Mediterranean Gull, 4 Greenshank, 12 Redshank and a Raven.
